Cat Running Animation
My 3rd attempt at pencil animation. Based on Muybridge's photos of a cat running. I was so proud that I received a deviantART Film Invite from $devart "Congratulations and welcome to deviantART Film!" Tells me that I am progressing on my path to becoming an animator.
Thank you, DeviantART!

I agree with volve, with a running cat he is going to have the same stride, the smaller 'jumps' would be for slowing down or starting his run. So when it's looped like that it breaks the flow and stride.
I need to work on it a bit, do you think adding one or two frames will make it better?
I think what's happened is you have a full quick run, then it loops which ruins the effect of the cat running, so that small section looks good on it's own, but when made to loop it feels like the cat is stumbling.
No take the small leap out, so the cat runs full stretch, then the feet come together before they go again for the full stretch and loop that and at the end you could add that little stretch in before it ends. It's the actual run cycle that needs changing when animals run they keep the same stride until they slow down.
yes, you just need to remove unnecesary fragment and let him run making only those big jumps. ^^
Nice sequence. Give us more, eh?
